FHA Home Loan Rates November 3 – Todays Rates Unchanged

FHA home loan rates for November 3rd, 2009 are unchanged early.  The conventional 30 year fixed rate mortgage is at 4.79% while the 15 year fixed mortgage rate is at 4.27%.  The conventional 5/1 ARM is up slightly to 3.84%.  The trading day will likely add some volatility to mortgage interest rates.  FHA home loan rates are generally .5% to .75% higher than conventional mortgage rates but it varies per lender.

Today has been very slow when it comes to mortgage interest rates but it is still very early, 9:00 am eastern, and the markets have yet to get going.  There is also a good chance that it is a calm before the storm until the Fed meets and releases their commentary.  This is sure to move the markets; especially the treasury markets which in turn will move mortgage rates.
