The government’s home loan modification program has produced a number of success stories after getting off to a rocky start.

Recently, the government reported that the Making Home Affordable program has produced around 650,000 trial loan modifications. The goal of the program is to help as many as 4 million people gain some debt relief regarding their home loans.
